Allied Irish Banks (AIB) continues its “Backing Doing” campaign with a new installment, that aims to convey an inspiring message.
The spot, created by ROTHCO and directed by multi-award-winning Irish director and animator Johnny Kelly, follows a ruby red suitcase who, after having spent her life unused at the back of a wardrobe, decides to embark on a journey and travel the world. Despite the obstacles she faces along the way, she manages to fulfill her longtime wish.
The spot, which also aims to leverage AIB’s position as market leaders in providing efficient loan application and
approval processes, celebrates “the power of doing” by illustrating, through an object people could easily identify with, the excitement of pursuing your dreams.
The bank’s new Personal Credit campaign also includes, besides the advert, which is available as 20-, 40- and 60-second versions, OOH, with bespoke illustrations created by illustrator and designer Tobias Hall.
