Yahoo Mail Commercial - Woman on Motorcycle

Yahoo has launched a new ad campaign to promote its mobile apps, which give users access to their e-mail fast, as well as access to a variety of other information, based on the app they are using, from Yahoo Weather, to Finance and Sports.

The 15-second spot focused on Yahoo Mail features a young woman who sees the red scooter she’s on turning into a turbocharged motorcycle as a methafor for the top-rated Yahoo Mail app, which “lets you sign in with your account and gives you turbocharged organization and color themes that help you embrace your wild side”.

The company has also been showcasing, in dedicated spots, the animated weather effects – including fog, rain, snow, and lightning – available in Yahoo Weather for Android, the things you can do with the Yahoo Finance app, such as getting up-to-the-minute market trends, buy and sell stocks from anywhere, and the things you can do with the Yahoo Sports app, such as watching live games, reading breaking news and highlights for all the teams you root for.

The apps are available for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
