The latest advert released by WeBuyAnyHome, labeled “the UK’s leading home buying company”, is a spoof of 90’s Hollywood blockbuster Armageddon.
Titled #WeGetYouMoving, the 30-second ad shows a team of NASA experts learning that the asteroid will collide with Eart in seven days, hitting Birmingham, specifically Parkside Avenue. At this point, one of the crew members, shocked by the news, says he lives there. “Need to get moving?” an onscreen line reads. The voiceover then informs that WeBuyAnyHome could buy your home in just seven days with “no fees”, “no commission”, and “no hassle”, and with cash offer in 24 hours.
The spot ends with the asteroid getting closer to Earth, toward the house which belonged to the NASA guy and which is now sold.
WeBuyAnyHome is “the market leader of the cash home-buying sector and abides by strict guidelines, offering maximum protection to house-sellers”, according to the company, which is a founding member of the National Association of Property Buyers (NAPB) and member of The Property Ombudsman (TPO) a government approved scheme to help with any resolution.
To receive an initial cash offer for selling your house to WeBuyAnyHome is free of charge. In order to receive an offer you can fill out the online enquiry form on the company’s website or call 0808 231 7528.
