Volvo In-Car Delivery Commercial

Volvo Cars is expanding its digital offering by partnering with Amazon to launch In-Car Delivery in the US. The automotive company has released a new commercial, announcing the addition of this service by Amazon Key.

“In recent times, Volvo Cars has made great strides in digital consumer services, with the simple goal of making life easier for its customers. Now, the company is expanding its digital offering by partnering with Amazon to offer in-car delivery in the United States. In-Car Delivery, in partnership with Amazon Key, is rolled out nationwide in dozens of cities around the country,” the voiceover informs in the 90-second spot.

“We believe that receiving a package should be as easy as ordering one,” Anders Tylman-Mikiewicz, Vice President Consumer Connectivity Services at Volvo Cars, said, mentioning that this offer will be available to all Volvo On Call subscribers and Amazon Prime members.

The in-car delivery service is “easy and convenient”, according to the automaker. Customers download the Amazon Key App and link their Amazon account with their Volvo On Call account. Once setup is complete and a delivery location is registered, customers can shop on Amazon.com and select the “In-Car” delivery option at checkout to complete their order. On the day the packages will arive, an authorized delivery driver locates your Volvo and places the package inside. Once the process is complete, you will receive a notification.

Volvo has been running In-Car Delivery in Europe since 2015.
