Subaru showcases the 2018 Subaru Forester in a new commercial telling the life story of a woman from birth to marriage to becoming the mother of twin boys, who is reminded, one night, when tragedy almost stroke, why so many parents choose a Subaru Forester to help protect their families.

“I was born during the winter of ’77. My dad said I cried for three days straight.” – this is how the woman starts her life story. She then tells when she met her husband and when they got married. “A few years later, we started a family of our own. The boys grew up fast.” – the woman is heard saying while on screen her twin sons are seen getting ready to go to the prom with their dates. The cinematic spot goes on with the scene of a car accident, that took place one night because “a truck didn’t stop.” Luckily, the twist is a happy one and the woman is now able to say that their story didn’t stop either and this is thanks to their Forester.

“And that’s why we will always drive a Subaru.” – the woman is heard saying at the end of the spot, which also features the onscreen line “Make sure your life story is a long one.” Subaru Forester is a 2018 IIHS Top Safety Pick with EyeSight and Steering Responsive Headlights.
