State Farm encourages people to start planning for their dream home with a savings account from State Farm Bank in one of its latest commercials.
The 30-second spot features a couple outside a house built in a forest, sitting by the fire while animals are joining them. A bird throws a soft wrap over the woman’s shoulders, a racoon comes over with a mashmallow, and a squirell and a deer approach to greet them and listen to the music the man is playing. The couple ask the woman chopping woods in front of them if it’s true that with the savings account from State Farm Bank she can help them plan for the home of their dreams, but – before receiving an answer – a bear who it turns out is one of their neighbors brings them back to reality. Now in their small apartment, with the neighbor looking into their living room from his balcony shouting at them to reset their router because it keeps buffering, they are more determined than ever to start planning for a new house. Handing them a tablet to see the info they need, the State Farm agent tells them it’s never too early to start.
The spot ends with the line “Here to help big moves go right” flashing across the screen.
