Girls in Sprint Commercial

Sprint highlights, in its latest commercial, that, for a limited time, you can lease one Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+ and get one S9 on Sprint. In addition, with Galaxy Forever you can upgrade to the newest Galaxy every year.

The 30-second spot features a Sprint employee telling two girl friends that, “right now, when you lease a Samsung Galaxy S9, you get another for your friend” and “with Galaxy Forever you can upgrade to the newest Galaxy every year.” “It’s like pre-ordering for the future,” the man tells the two customers. “Upgrades, every year?”, asks one of them. “Every year,” the employee confirms. The ad then goes on with the three protagonists in the future and with a baby robot confirming that customers can indeed upgrade to the newest Galaxy every year and asking “How come no one’s getting this?” Paul Marcarelli, the ubiquitous “Test Man” character in commercials for Verizon Wireless until 2011 who became a Sprint spokesman afterwards, also makes an appearance in the ad.

The commercial ends with the voiceover urging you to “lease a Samsung Galaxy S9 and get a second on Sprint and with Galaxy Forever always have the newest”.
