Never seen Santa? You should have gone to Specsavers. This is the message conveyed by the British optical retail chain in its latest advert.
The spot features a bunch of kids sharing their stories about the encounter they had with Santa. One of them says he has a big white beard, another one says he has a personalized hat, a little boy says Santa doesn’t go on holiday, and a little girl said he left a big bag of presents, like a huge one.
“Never seen Santa. Should’ve gone to Specsavers” onscreen lines read at the end of the advert, which also directs viewers to the chain’s website and see the stores near them.
Specsavers informs that, this Christmas, you can treat yourself to two pairs of designer glasses from the £99 range or above – and pay for just one. Customers can take their pick from a range of brands that includes Balmain, Kylie Minogue Eyewear, Karen Millen, will.i.am and Diesel. Those who haven’t had an eye test in the last two years can book one on the chain’s website to make sure their eyes are healthy and they’re seeing clearly in their new frames.
Another deal is on kids’ glasses. All glasses in the kids’ £64 and £85 ranges are free with an under-16s’ NHS optical voucher. Moreover, kids will be given a second pair from the £64 or £85 ranges, free. Both pairs come with single-vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment and UV filter or you can choose to have tinted prescription lenses and UV filter free in your second pair.
