Peloton has released a new commercial, giving viewers a glimpse into the live studio cycling class that Peloton users get to attend from the comfort of their home.
The 30-second “Inside the Class” ad opens with Peloton bike instructor Leanne Hainsby motivating the class to “do this” and goes on with footage of different people working up a sweat on their Peloton bikes. “Do not give up now,” “Let’s try together,” “Here we go,” “You’re stronger than you know,” the instructor encourages her class.
The soundtrack music is “Banquet (Phones Disco Edit)” by British indie rock band Bloc Party, from their debut studio album, “Silent Alarm,” released in 2005.
Leanne, who is one of the brand’s newest cycling instructors from London, along with Ben Alldis, is presented on the Peloton website as “a London-based professional dancer turned fitness enthusiast who is passionate about movement and self-expression.” According to the description made by Peloton, she has danced since the age of 3 and has worked her way on stage with some of the best-known artists in the world like Taylor Swift, Kylie Minogue, and Katy Perry. Her style of teaching is aimed at inspiring people to step outside of their comfort zone and helping them to get to the finish line with a smile on their face. Leanne’s classes wil be available on-demand only as Peloton develops its London studio.
