Muscle Milk highlights the importance of proteins in a new ad, promoting the brand’s protein bars.
The 15-second spot, part of the “Strong Feels Good” campaign, opens with a group of bridesmaids waiting for the bride’s bouquet to be thrown at them. One of them, who had “15g of ‘Vertical Leap of Faith’ protein”, jumps up in the air and manages to catch the bunch of flowers. However, shortly after, she throws it, walking away with a smile on her face. The slogan “Strong Feel Good” flashes across the screen, alongside a pack of Peanut Butter Cookie Flavored, which contains 15g protein and 190 calories.
Muscle Milk protein bars offer, according to the brand, “creamy and crunchy textures with a whipped soft layer to delight your senses.” Inspired by artisanal ice cream flavors and mix ins and made with high quality protein and nutrients, the protein bars are available in both 15g and 20g protein varieties. Among the flavours you could choose from are Almond Cookie, Blueberry Waffle, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Birthday Cake, Cookies ‘n Crème, Double Rocky Road, Peanut Butter Cookie, Lemon Bliss, Salted Caramel, and others.
The Muscle Milk range also includes Genuine Protein Shake, Organic Protein Shake, Genuine Protein Powder, Smoothie Protein Shake, 100 Calorie Protein Powder, Cofee House Protein Shake, and more. Some of these products are showcased in other spots included in the “Strong Feels Good” campaign, which was launched by creative agency Mekanism in 2017.
Among the athletes that collaborate with Muscle Milk is Stephen Curry, who plays a major role in the brand’s Recovery Grant program that awards grants to help high school athletic programs in need around the country. The Golden State Warriors point guard has also starred in a “Strong Feels Good” commercial, showing off his dance moves.
