Mercedes-Benz continues its “Urban Story” campaign, aimed at showcasing the Mercedes-Benz A-Class 2018 with Mercedes me connect, with a new commercial.
After the “Touch” spot, which was about innate human curiosity and the urge we sometimes have to touch things, this time, the automotive company highlights the Mercedes-Benz A-Class’ (2018) personalizable settings, able to recreate the driver’s ideal environment, including music, seat position and favourite display design. Titled “Habits”, the ad features Lexie, a young woman that finds her workplace not quite the way she likes it: her desk chair is switched, her pens are no longer organized by colour as she left them, her mug, which was perfectly aligned, is moved, and one of her small plants is out of place. “Who would do such a thing?” she asks herself, determined to make the guilty ones pay for what they’ve done.
“Like things your own way? Log in to your profile and the new A-Class remembers all your favorite settings and even how you like your seat,” the voiceover says at the end of the spot, adding the tagline “The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class with Mercedes me. Just like you”.
In other recent commercials, Mercedes-Benz also promoted the Mercedes me connect Concierge Service, a service available for the E-Class (2017 model onwards) and for the S-Class (2017 facelift onwards), that provides detailed responses to your personal search requests including share prices, sports results, weather, cinema programme, travel and traffic information, searches for desired destinations and have them transmitted directly to your vehicle’s navigation system and makes recommendations for restaurants and more, all 24/7.
