Mango has launched its Spring/Summer 2018 Committed collection with a campaign film starring Arizona Muse. The fashion model, who’s known for her interest and dedication to sustainability, was named the new face of the Committed range.
Described as “a thoughtfully crafted collection for women and men featuring fashion pieces committed to environmental sustainability”, Mango Committed collection has been made with environmentally friendly organic and recycled cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel.
First launched in February 2017, Mango Committed capsule collection, which marked a natural step of the Spanish brand towards making sustainability a major component of its business model, is now at the third edition. The first campaign featured real-life model couple Raquel Zimmermann and Mathias Lauridsen and the second one, Fall/Winter 2017, featured Liya Kebede and Clement Chabernaud. Vogue photographer Josh Olins captured the looks in both cases.
Last year, Mango stated that “The goal of the company is to increase the percentage of sustainable fibres used in its collections, with a commitment for 50% of MANGO cotton to be of sustainable origin by 2022”.
