KFC promotes its Extra Crispy $20 Fill Up in a new ad, starring the Colonel, highlighting that “when you’re lost in a sea of hunger,” only he can “satisfy your crunchy cravings with an Extra Crispy $20 Fill Up”.

The 30-second spot features a family of four on a lifeboat floating in the ocean and the Colonel on a ship using a drone to send them a plate with an Extra Crispy $20 Fill Up, telling them that those “pasty crunches are guaranteed to satisfy a family of four.” He then wishes them good luck, leaving the family behind.

KFC’s $20 Fill Up has 8 pieces of Original Recipe, Extra Crispy, or Kentucky Grilled Chicken, a large cole slaw, 4 biscuits and 2 large mashed potatoes and gravy.

The Fill Up Menu also includes the $5 Fill Up: Extra Crispy Tenders, which includes three Extra Crispy tenders, dipping sauce, larger mashed potatoes, biscuit, medium drink, and a chocolate chip cookie, the $5 Fill Up: Chicken Breast, which includes an 8 oz. chicken breast, larger mashed potatoes, biscuit, medium drink and a chocolate chip cookie, the $5 Fill Up: Famous Bowl, which includes the fast-food chain’s world-famous bowl, medium drink and a chocolate chip cookie, the $5 Fill Up: Pot Pie, which includes classic chicken pot pie, medium drink and a chocolate chip cookie, the $5 Fill Up: Drumstick & Thigh, which includes two pieces of fried chicken, larger mashed potatoes, biscuit, medium drink and a chocolate chip cookie, and the $5 Fill Up: Crispy Colonel Sandwich, which includes a Crispy Colonel Sandwich, potato wedges, chocolate chip cookie, and a medium drink.
