Anthony Joshua puts the new Hugo Boss’ Stretch Tailoring to the test. The unified heavyweight world champion boxer stars in a new commercial for the fashion brand, wearing the new suits, which are “designed to flex with the body’s movement to be more comfortable than ever before”.
Titled “All in the details,” the 20-second spot features Joshua practising his boxing moves wearing only trousers and then the new Boss Stretch Tailoring in order to find out if he can enjoy the same freedom of movement. “It’s all in the details. The real work happens when no one’s watching. In the shadows. Outside the spotlight. That’s where perfection is reached. Precision. Control. It’s all in the details,” he says in voiceover.
According to the brand, the new BOSS Stretch Tailoring is crafted from “two layers of stretch fabric to flex with the body, offering enhanced movement and high-level comfort,” and the “sharp BOSS cut and elevated materials ensure a sartorial finish, while offering the comfort normally associated with a jersey suit”.
Joshua, who was named the new face of Hugo Boss’s Stretch Tailoring line earlier this month, built a close relationship with the label after being dressed by the Boss team for the GQ Men Of The Year Awards. In an interview for GQ Magazine, he revealed he has always been a big fan of Hugo Boss and that he is “gassed” that they chose to work with him.
