Carlos Correa, George Springer, and Jose Altuve return to the small screen in a new commercial for H-E-B, promoting the Curbside & Delivery service.
The four Houston Astros’ players are seen, this time, adding to their online shopping cart various H-E-B items, including chocolate hummus, guacamole, and apples. After sniffing his shirt, Astros second baseman Jose Altuve decides to buy also Bravo liquid detergent. Outfielder George Springer adds to the cart Fresh Prime One sticks and says that the retailer’s Curbside & Delivery service is “great”, mentioning that now they can grocery shop “from anywhere”. “And we can grocery shop while we’re doing anything,” shortstop Carlos Correa completes him. At this point, it turns out they are sitting in ice-filled tubs.
The commercial ends with the voiceover urging viewers to “order online and send straight to home with H-E-B Delivery or pick up curbside”.
The Curbside service allows customers to create their grocery list, submit their order online, select a pick up time that’s convenient for them, arrive on time and pick up their order. Once arrived at the H-E-B Curbside, they will have the groceries loaded in their car by a H-E-B Personal Shopper. Using the Delivery service, instead, the groceries are delivered right to your home in “as little as 4 hours”. There is an H-E-B Personal Shopper fee of $4.95 for all orders and an additional $7.50 service fee for home delivery.
H-E-B Curbside is currently available at select stores in Austin, Burleson, Granbury, Houston, New Braunfels, San Antonio and Corpus Christi.
H-E-B Home Delivery is currently available in select zip codes. The service, however, will be added to more H-E-B stores.
The independent food retailer, which is the largest private employer in Texas, is known for using Spurs and Houston Astros players in its commercials promoting the H-E-B brand products, made with select ingredients, with no artificial flavors or colors, including Cafe Olé, Chocolate Hummus, Prime 1 Steak, Bare Bread, and others.
