GEICO Karate Therapy Commercial

GEICO highlights, in a new commercial, which features nervous homeowners looking to move, that it helps with homeowners insurance, as well.

Titled “Karate Therapy”, the ad shows the nervous homeowners, a middle-aged couple played by Brandon Gibson and Nancy Friedrich, chopping some wood in the front yard. “Are you ok there, Kurt?”, a neighbor (Kevin Small) asks the man, who’s using his hand to break the wood, which is handed to him by his wife, to pieces. “We’re about to move.” the woman answers. “Karate helps relieve some of the house-buying stress.”, her husband adds, while keeping chopping wood. “At least you don’t have to worry about homeowners insurance. Call GEICO.” their neighbor advises them. “GEICO helps with homeowners insurance?”, the nervous homeowner asks. Learning that the neighbor has been doing it for years, he makes a hole in the wall with his hand to reach the phone and call GEICO right away. His wife, who doesn’t just make a hole, but passes through the wall, says “Good idea!”.

The commercial ends with the voiceover (Andrew Anthony) urging viewers to “Get to know GEICO and see how easy homeowners and renters insurance can be”.
