CoolSculpting Commercial - Girl Eating Chili Peppers

CoolSculpting advertises its non-invasive fat-reduction procedure in a new spot, aimed at highlighting that you shouldn’t subject yourself to all kinds of rough treatments to lose belly fat, since there’s a “COOLer, nonsurgical way to lose fat”.

The 30-second ad features a woman by the pool trying the “Chilly Pepper Sweat-out” (aka eating red hot chilli peppers and sweat a lot) in an attempt to lose stubborn belly fat. She is obviously struggling with this treatment, which is “not cool”, but luckily she finds out about a cooler way to lose fat: “freezing away fat cells with CoolSculpting.” The voiceover says “CoolSculpting safely freezes and removes fat cells with little or no downtime and no surgery,” mentioning that “Result and patient experience may vary” and “Some common side effects include temporary numbness, discomfort, and swelling”.

The ad also informs that this procedure is “FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm,” and that it’s #1 nonsurgical fat reduction treatment. People who visit the company’s website and register have the chance to win a free treatment. The offer ends October 28, 2018.
