Audi e-tron Commercial - Girl with Parrot

Audi showcases its first all-electric car, e-tron, in a new commercial, that tells the story of a cockatoo that didn’t want to be like the rest of her fellows.

The spot features a young girl trying to convince her cockatoo (a type of parrot) to start talking instead of always barking. She tells the bird that she’s supposed to repeat words because that’s what parrots do, but her requests are met with a refusal. She explains that cockatoos don’t bark, they speak, just like cats meow and thunders thunder. As she’s about to explain something about cars, maybe referring to the specific noise they make when in motion, an Audi e-tron, with its near-silent motor, drives by and the kid realizes that not all cars are and should be the same, so she tells her feathered friend, who went silent for a moment that she can keep on barking if she wants.

The commercial ends with onscreen lines presenting the e-tron as the first Audi 100% electrical.
