Wendy’s promotes its new Bacon Queso Burger, Bacon Queso Chicken Sandwich and Bacon Queso Fries in a new ad,
highlighting that they are here “to cure your queso cheese craving – for a limited time”.

“So Wendy’s has noticed that you love Queso. Oh, they got you. Because your Queso obsession has inspired Wendy’s
Queso mission.” – says the voiceover in the 30-second spot, titled “The Ballad of Bacon Queso”, featuring a guy who admits he’s guilty of loving Queso in court, in front of a judge.

The ad continues with the voiceover introducing Wendy’s new Bacon Queso Burger, Chicken Sandwich and Fries, “inspired by the Queso obsessed, for the Queso obsessed”, “because everything’s better with Queso”.

The Bacon Queso Burger is made with a quarter-pound of fresh, never frozen beef topped with warm and spicy poblano queso, three strips of Applewood smoked bacon, fire-roasted salsa, red onions, and shredded cheddar cheese, all served on a toasted red jalapeno bun.

The Bacon Queso Chicken Sandwich contains juicy Homestyle chicken fillet topped with warm and spicy poblano queso, three strips of Applewood smoked bacon, fire-roasted salsa, red onions, and shredded cheddar cheese, and the Bacon Queso Fries are seasoned with sea salt and topped with warm and spicy poblano queso, three strips of Applewood smoked bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
