Vanderbilt University Commercial

Vanderbilt University has released a public service announcement commercial, created by the Vanderbilt Communications team, to show off some of the amazing connections that make Vanderbilt University so great.

“Vanderbilt University connects technology and humanity, innovation and imagination, determination and distinction.” – the voiceover says in the 30-second spot, featuring Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff coming together and working together. The Vanderbilt-designed Indego exoskeleton, which allows people paralyzed below the waist to stand up and walk, is shown, as well as Tristan Strong, a Vanderbilt linebacker who chose a different career path: he has become a nurse.

Vanderbilt University, located in Nashville, Tennessee, is a private research university and medical center offering a full-range of undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate programs.

The fourth annual Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair, which will showcase university-wide, interdisciplinary student research through poster presentations, is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 14, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Student Life Center.
