Trulia has released two new commercials as part of the brand’s new national TV and digital campaign, titled “The House is Only Half of It”, aiming to highlight the importance of the neighborhood while searching for the dream home.
One of the 30-second spots features Beth, a young single woman in search of a house, who discovers, in a potential
neighborhood, some issues (people driving in crazy traffic and shouting at a man whose car has broken down, and a
tornado coming) that make her access Trulia and use the available map overlays to find the best option for her.
“When it comes to buying a house, Trulia knows that a house is only half of it.”, states the voiceover, adding that, “with Trulia 34 map overlays, like traffic, crime, natural hazards, and more, you can find the right house and the right neighborhood for you”. The spot, featuring Peggy Lee’s popular song “It’s a Good Day”, ends with the voiceover saying the tagline, “The house is only half of it”.
