Tesco promotes the new contactless Tesco Clubcard in a new ad campaign starring Ruth Jones and Ben Miller and highlighting that with one tap customers can collect points toward memorable family holidays, fun days out, special gifts, and more.
The spots feature the duo, who are playing husband and wife, using the new loyalty card, which enables them to “tap” it against a reader at every checkout and earn points from the transaction. The points can be used to get money off their shopping in store or online, which Ruth and Ben did.
The supermarket giant, whose Clubcard is one of the UK’s most popular loyalty schemes, enables its customers to spend the points to Reward partners which currently features top lifestyle, travel and home retailers including Pizza Express, Thorpe Park and Uber.
