Subaru Australia showcases, in a new ad, the all-new, all-entertaining Subaru XV, described as “Australia’s genuine compact SUV that delivers blockbuster entertainment and show-stopping value”.

The voiceover invites you, in the 45-second spot, to “buckle up for a big screen adventure and epic journey, where one woman’s needs meets one man’s desire”, while on screen a man is shown driving a sunshine orange Subaru XV and getting a parking ticket from a “renegade cop” while waiting for his wife, who went to a store to buy something.

As the ad continues, highlighting that Subaru XV delivers a gripping performance on the road thanks to its X-Mode,
which enables the man and his partner get to a place where their friends are throwing a barbecue party.
