Specsavers has launched a new advert, inviting viewers to get a free hearing test.
The 40-second spot features a man working at the North/South Pole running out of food supplies. When finally a box is dropped out of a plane for him, he runs to open it, hoping that he will be able to fill his fridge, but – unfortunately – he doesn’t find what he had expected to. To his surprise, a clown shows up shouting “Surprise”.
Obviosly, the next thing he does is to get back to those he had talked to previously and tell them what he had said. “Supplies, I said send supplies.” – the man communicates through radio station.
The advert ends with the onscreen lines “Trouble hearing? Should’ve gone to Specsavers.” and “Free hearing test”.
Specsavers highlights that, if you qualify for free NHS funded hearing aids, you may not need to go to a hospital anymore as you can get a hearing test with a hearing care professional, two NHS digital hearing aids and full aftercare, free from your local Specsavers. Specsavers also states that, until the end of September, they’re making hearing aids even more affordable, helping you save up to £500.
