Ice-T is drinking Iced Tea in the latest ads for Sonic Drive-In, promoting the brand’s range of Frozen Sweet Teas and Lemonades.

In one of the spots, titled “Frozen”, the American rapper and actor stars alongside T.J. Jagodowski and Peter Grosz (the duo always appearing in Sonic’s commercials).

“This frozen wild berry sweet tea is so cold and refreshing” – says Jagodowski, who plays the passenger in a red convertible car with Grosz at the wheel.

“Way better that Iced Tea” – answers his mate.

Ice-T, who’s in a blue car next to the two friends’ red car, in a Sonic Drive-In, says “It’s cold, man”.

Jagodowski tells him that “it’s actually frozen” and the rapper answers “you’re about to be frozen”.

The spot ends with the voiceover saying that “Ice-T is better than Iced Tea” and introducing the new Frozen Sweet Teas & Lemonades, before mentioning the drive-in fast-food restaurant tagline, “This is how you Sonic”.
