Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen promote their latest offer on Ghost Pepper Wings in a new commercial.

The spot features the Popeye’s chicken lady, Annie (played by TV actress Deidrie Henry), asking viewers to get ready for something they have never imagined, the bold flavor of her Popeyes Ghost Pepper Wings. She also mentions that people can now buy six wings and a biscuit for $4.99, before adding the tagline “Taste the mystery of the Ghost Pepper”.

The ad also informs that price, which does not include applicable tax, may vary, with prices being higher in Alaska and Hawaii. The offer is valid for a limited time only, at participating restaurants.

The Ghost Pepper Wings are bone-in chicken wingettes and drumettes marinated for at least 12 hours in Louisiana Seasonings (which include ghost peppers) and then hand-battered, hand-breaded, and deep-fried.
