Pedigree continues it “What does it take to be a Pedigree pup-lete?” campaign with two new ads, created in collaboration with advertising agency BBDO New York.
In one of the videos, highlighting that it takes “stamina” to be a Pedigree pup-lete, the dog food and treats brand spotlights a husky puplete “riding” (actually sitting) on a wooden bull at a farm for a lot of time, judging by the timer used by a man to check the puppy’s endurance.
The other video highlights that it takes “guts” to be a Pedigree pup-lete by featuring a Golden Retriever puppy diving into an inflatable baby pool.
The brand’s campaign debuted in 2016 with the puppy bowl and continued earlier this year with three videos featuring bascketball, soccer and racing, sports that the audience could related to, according to brand manager Melodie Bolin, who revealed that, this fall, Pedigree will continue this video series with football content.
