“Make your first impression a lasting impression with Orbit Gum.” – this is the message conveyed by the brand of chewing gum in a new series of ads released with the tagline “Time to Shine”.

One of them, dubbed “Pants”, features a young couple making out interrupted by a knock in the door. The girl says it’s her dad and gives her boyfriend, who’s wearing only briefs, his pants. After taking a pack of Orbit from the pockets and chewing a gum, he finds the courage to open the door wearing only his colorful briefs and introduce himself. In a few seconds, her dad’s severe look turns into a smile, while her mother raises an eyebrow.

The spot, promoting the Peppermint Gum, ends with the brand’s tagline, “Time to Shine”.
