Jürgen Klopp - Opel Insignia Commercial

Opel has launched a new ad campaign, introducing a new brand claim, “The Future Is Everyone’s”, and a new logo, to
showcase the new Opel Insignia and aiming to highlight that this car holds premium technology for all of us.

One of the spots, titled “Time for a new leadership”, presents the new leadership as people who have authority, but without being authoritarian, who don’t believe in power, but in the power of making, who can take a blow and come out punching stronger, who have calculus, but trust their feelings. “They lead the way and leave no one behind.” – says the voiceover in the 45-second spot, which features, among others, German football manager Jürgen Klopp going “undercover” in a detention centre to look for talent.

Klopp also stars in another spot part of a series showcasing some of the most important features of the new Opel Insignia, such as the adaptive 4×4 all-wheel drive and torque vectoring, the best-in-class LED Matrix headlights, WiFi hotspot and 24/7 Personal Assistance from Opel OnStar.

“There’s a new leadership. They have foresight, but don’t blind” – says the voiceover in the 15-second video featuring Klopp driving an Insignia at night, on a curvy road, and benefiting from the car’s LED Matrix headlights and Automatic Dipper.

The spots end with the voiceover saying the brand’s new tagline, “The Future Is Everyone’s”, while the new logo,
representing a flash and a wheel reduced to the essential and designed for the digital world, appears on screen.
