Opel showcases the newest member of the X family, Grandland X, in a new commercial, aiming to highlight that this car, with an athletic, muscular presence that reflects its off-road DNA, is born for adventure.
The 30-second spot features the German automaker’s SUV, focusing on its exterior design, while onscreen lines “advise” you to “Remember that wild feeling, taking charge, hearing your own heart beat. Remember going for it. Remember living your life.” The final onscreen line points out that it’s “Time to revive it”.
“A stylish newcomer is ready to attack in the booming compact SUV segment – and that is our new Opel Grandland X. Its name stands for adventure, independence and abundance. With its sporty design, the Grandland X looks fantastic and will ensure that new customers get excited about the Opel brand. Beyond the characteristic SUV qualities, it also has a host of top technologies that make it safe and fun at the same time. With the Grandland X, Opel is bringing onto the market a cool SUV with a strong ‘I want it’ factor,” Opel CEO Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann said.
The new Opel Grandland X, that joins the Opel Crossland X and bestseller Opel Mokka X in the Opel X family, will have its world premiere at this year’s International Motor Show, that will take place in Frankfurt, from 14 to 24 September, with press days on the 12th and 13th.
