Huawei has released a new film promoting the brand’s Mobile Films Festival, an event celebrating movies made on smartphones, which kicks off on May 8th, giving you the chance to enter your own mobile movie trailer for a chance to win some amazing prizes.
The 60-second clip, dubbed “Color Story”, has been made by LA-based Elise Mesner (@lellopepper), “an eclectic-minded painter, illustrator, fashion/costume designer, stylist, taste maker, cross-media artist, and fine art photographer/art director working and dipping into all arty media”, using a single charge of a Huawei Mate 9.
The film is the result of One Charge Challenge, aiming to see how many moments could be capture with the Mate 9 on a single charge, challenge that has been accepted also by photographer Brandon Tormanen (@b.tormanen), who spent 24 hours in Moab for this purpose.
Huawei urges you to get inspired and start planning to submit your mobile film trailer starting May 8, and check back for more One Charge Challenge films all week long.
