
BMW showcases the 2018 BMW X3 in a new commercial, presenting it as “The Ultimate Driving Machine”.
“As long as there is fear, as long as there is curiosity, as long as there are undiscovered corners of the Earth, and as long as there is willingness and desire, then you are capable of more.” – the voiceover says in the 30-second spot, introducing then the all-new BMW X3 as the SUV “capable of more”. Throughout the ad, images of a BMW X3 speeding down a road and footage of people doing various sports, from surfing to off-road biking, are shown.

The all-new 2018 BMW X3 will be available with either a four- or six-cylinder engine and with All-Wheel Drive or xDrive in BMW parlance standard. Among the exterior features of the third-generation X3 there are a more striking profile with a long hood, a tapering roofline, a beltline that rises aft of the C-pillar, overall length up more than two inches, headlights pushed to the edges of the front fenders, and kidney grille that incorporates shutters.
Inside, standard equipment on the 2018 X3 includes sport seats with power-adjustable bolsters, a 40/20/40 split-folding, reclining rear bench seat, three-zone automatic climate control, and a forward-collision-warning system.
Among the available optional features there are a head-up display largerthan in the previous X3 model, a 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, which is Apple CarPlay compatible, a panoramic sunroof, and various safety systems included in the Driving Assistance package, such as a blind-spot monitor, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and lane-departure warning.
