AT&T celebrates self-expression and urges you to live with pride and be bold in life in its 5th annual “Live Proud” campaign, starring the company’s LGBT employee group.
The 60-second spot titled “We Are Bold” introduces the members of the LGBT community from the telecommunications giant, who share affirming messages of freedom, confidence and unity, at the AT&T’s San Francisco’s headquarters, where they went for a photo shoot with Adam Bouska. The clip features Ginger L. Chien, Lead Member Technical Staff in Bellevue, who’s been with the company for 21 years. “AT&T gave me the confidence to transition on the job” – she says. Benji Fleenor, Lead Marketing Manager in El Segundo, CA, states that he’s working in a company that respects him, Quintin Dillard, Area Sales Manager in Atlanta, GA, reveals that AT&T helped him be understood (he is gay). Lisa Cremone, Customer Care Operations in Piscataway, NJ, says that her “work family” helped her “come out of the closet” to her own family, Fernando Diaz, Flagship Brand Ambassador in San Francisco, CA, says that his leadership team makes him feel like they’re a family, Sara Farooqi, a Muslim working at AT&T Entertainment Group in San Ramon, CA, states “it’s very important to be an advocate for the LGBT community”.

The clip features also Ken McNeely, AT&T President, who states that “to be bold is being able to be your authentic self”.
