Air New Zealand has brought together several kids in its Mother’s Day commercial to celebrate every onboard moment when mothers really shine.
The children, boys and girls, tell what they have done during their flights with their moms, against a backdrop featuring computer-generated illustrations. “I used your handbag as a spew bag.”, “I screamed the whole flight long.”, “I decided I hated seat belts as the seatbelt light turned on.”, “I took up half of your seat to sleep, but my eyes stayed open wide.”, “I cried and cried and cried and cried and cried and cried” – reveal the little one, who then honor their mothers. “So here’s to frantic toilet runs and crotches splashed with wine. And every onboard moment when mothers really shine. Cause flying with kids ain’t easy. It tests the strongest bond.” – add the kids, making thus a rhyme, which is ended by an Air New Zealand crew member as follows: “But even at 30.000 feet, you still go above and beyond..”.
The spot ends with the wish “Happy Mother’s Day from Air New Zealand” told by a little girl.
