Honda’s “Fit for Fun” integrated marketing campaign, launched to showcased the redesigned 2018 Honda Fit and some of its most important upgrades, continues with a new commercial starring Renny.
The 30-second spot, titled “Spin Class”, part of the “Fituation” series, features the comedian as the frontman of a band, who says what you end up with “when you introduce the Honda Fit into your life”: “Fituation”. He is also shown as a spinning instructor who shouts “Who wanna get fit up in here?”. The class is full and stinks, according to the voiceover, who introduces Darlene and Darren, a young couple who decide to follow Renny’s advice and turn this situation into a Fituation by putting their bikes in the trunk of the Fit and go cycling and get some fresh air.
The ad also highlights the large storage space, thanks to the unique split 2nd-row Magic Seat, that has four clever configurations to haul the passengers or cargo you want, and the orange stitches.
The 2017 Honda Fit also features Honda Sensing, an intelligent suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies designed to alert drivers to things they might miss while driving, including Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Collision Mitigation Braking System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
