Old Navy announces its limited-time 50% off sale on all tees, tanks, shorts, swim and dresses in a new commercial, featuring Regina Hall.
The 30-second spot, created by agency Chandelier, follows the 48-year-old actress – who’s modeling the Gingham Midi Dress, which features a v-neckline and an adjustable wrap at the waist and is now available for purchase for $44.99, as she arrives at a restaurant in the company of two women. Asked by one of her friends if they’re looking good, she answers that they always look good in Old Navy and reveals that the reason she usually goes to that restaurant, where “everything’s terrible,” is because she likes the outfits of those around her. Noticing two customers wearing dresses featuring gingham and dot-patterned dresses, Hall also reveals she “got the hots for gingham and dots” and she also can’t help saying about a father that he’s “looking like a slack”.
Throughout the ad a variety of other playful looks are showcased, from high-rise denim shorts to printed high-neck lantern-sleeve blouse ($32.99) to a high-rise frayed-hem distressed denim skirt ($32).
At the end of the commercial, the voiceover urges viewers to shop 50$ off all tees, tanks, shorts, swim and dresses.
Back in March, Old Navy teamed up with Lana Condor for campaign in honor of International Women’s Day. In the past, the clothing store has also collaborated with Amy Schumer for its 2016 Back-to-School campaign.
