MoneySuperMarket Parachuting Cat Advert

U.K. price comparison website MoneySuperMarket has launched a new integrated marketing campaign, encouraging people to “get money calm”.

The spot, which marks the first work from the company’s new agency, Engine, is built on the insight that “even the most money-savvy among us finds dealing with bills stressful,” features a man stressed out by bills as he is transported above the clouds thanks to Moneysupermarket. “Hello, bills. They’re always piling up. It’s enough to put anyone in a spin,” the narrator, “Toast of London” comedy actor Matt Berry, says on the 60-second ad. He then adds that “Moneysupermarket gives you lots of clever ways to save a lot by doing very little”.

“Get money calm,” the voiceover says at the end of the spot, saying hello again to the man’s cat, which is now seen parachuting.

The campaign includes OOH, radio, press, CRM, social media and editorial content.

Moneysupermarket allows users to compare and save on over 40 products including car insurance, home insurance, credit cards, loans and energy. Among its tools are the Credit Monitor, which gives you your credit score for free, plus personalised tips on how to improve it, Bill Manager, an energy monitoring service designed to help people never overpay again, and more. The company provides over 50 ways to “Get Money Calm” from banking to insurance.
