Branston Pickle Cheese Advert

The British food brand Branston has launched a new ad campaign, titled “Please the Cheese”, to promote its
Branston Pickle.

The 30-second spot, created by Mcgarrybowen London, features several pieces of cheese, including Cheddar,
Lancashire, Edam, Parmesan, Gorgonzola, and others, running out of the woods to gather around a giant jar of Branston Pickle, shouting “Pickle me! Pickle me!” to be smothered in. The “lucky” one is a piece of cheddar, that lies down on a cracker and gets covered in pickle by a large spoon filled with Branston Pickle. When the cracker is lifted in the air and a loud crunch is heard, the other pieces of cheese freeze.

Branston Pickle is made from a variety of diced vegetables, including swede, carrots, onions and cauliflower pickled in a sauce made from vinegar, tomato, apple and spices.

The campaign will run for four weeks and be supported by digital and social activity, print ads, digital banners, and event and in-store sampling.
